This was a surprisingly solid horror anthology. There were ghosts, zombies, demons, aliens, and a creepy doll featured. The wraparound story with the creepy doll and the museum brusque with the Ralph Bakshi esque creatures were my favorites! I'd happily watch a characteristic length picture based on the museum short. Information technology's a horror anthology and so it'southward gonna be a mixed bag for sure. Worth a watch though imho.

A mother (Kristanna Loken) keeps a murderous puppet from discovering her sleeping son through the recitement of five frightful yarns.
French horror album with well-trodden themes and twists of little surprise. Evil echoes through an art gallery, ghosts haunt a night jogger, vengeance from an undead hands, and a djinn stalks a woman's every waking moment. Saving its best for final, a crazy coot played by Dominique Pinon regales doubting documentarians of divine messaging from beyond our known galaxy. Awkwardly switching between French and English throughout reinforces its pieced-together feel (repackaged from a Goggle box series). Watched via Scream Factory's DVD.

One of the better horror anthologies in recent years the only brusk that i found weak in my opinion was the 2d but the overall quality and special effects were very impressive for low upkeep standards!

English part below
aka DARK STORIES TO SURVIVE THE Nighttime
Nett.
The T-X tells horror stories to a killer doll to go along him from killing her.
Surprisingly entertaining Antholgie. Ghouls, zombies, ghosts, aliens, djinns, nosotros have it all here.
Couple are good, couple are just okay, but the framework story about Kristana Loken puts a smile on your face up at the end. There was also enough budget. It's not necessarily cinema, but you don't take to hide from NETFLIX and those kind.
Nice.

Album of horror stories, hell yep!
Actually this was a series in France that was fabricated into a complete moving picture and we get to encounter those episodes done in an anthology style.
Are they skillful? Let's discover out...The Ghoul Feast: Fighting Ralph Bakshi style ghouls in an art museum. Not going to lie. I dig this. 3/5
The Park: Ghosts in the park but they wasn't trying to haunt. 3/v
Long Night/Expressionless Simply Alive: Near people would freak out seeing a zombie. This guy in the morgue gets excited and take a selfie. Dude, same to be honest. Also Die Hard: Zombi 3.5/five
Boughtat: Night terrors take grade and I'thousand just all the nope seeing that coming closer to…

Watchlist cleanout 2022 #27. Primarily purple poster
This was surprisingly good. I enjoyed all the segments, and found them genuinely creepy and/or tense. The but one that was cheesey was the wrap around story with the doll, just this was fun as well.
I think my favourite was probably the runners in the ghost park. The djinn was skilful to. Both had well washed monsters.
The only thing I didn't like was that it jumped dorsum and forth between French and English. I would accept preferred if information technology was just one or the other.
This would be a 3.75, only I'll circular upwardly. -
oh my gosh this was and then fun!! my favorite was probably the painting one, because I loved the brute design! also the framing story was Perfect!! i would be very happy to sentry this again!

This riotously entertaining anthology stars Kristanna Loken as a woman who gets tied to a chair past a creepy doll (don't enquire)... The doll forces her to tell scary stories in exchange for her life and she tells 5 of them - we get a ghouls in the fine art gallery, a runner terrorised in the park, an unfortunate zombie, a very creepy Djinn and a guy who thinks aliens take told him well-nigh an impending apocalypse...
All of the stories worked for me - some were funny, some were creepy, some were a little of both just they were all familiar plenty to be comforting but surprising enough to go along my interest. The cast were all excellent also (always great…

I love album movies, especially horror anthologies. I am a total sucker for every curt collection of the macabre I tin become my hands on, with Creepshow being one of my favorite movies of all time. Maybe this is because I have the attention bridge of a 5-year-old. So, when I saw this movie, I knew I had to watch it. As is the case with many brusque pic collections, this movie was a mixed bag, so let'due south have a quick await into each 1 of these little chills:
In the first story, we follow a museum worker that discovers "ghouls" living within the newly acquired paintings, that kidnap her kid. I didn't care for this one at all, the…

Ane of a scattering of pleasant surprises at the fest!
A fun anthology with a nice mixture of stories.
Hell fifty-fifty the wraparound tale is a lot of fun.
A fun way to end the festival. -
FrightFest Digital
Dark Stories is a horror album pic with five brusque horror films virtually ghouls, Due east.T, haunted dolls, zombies and more.
It really confuses me when an album pic manages to be and then consistently terrible. Dark Stories manages to do just that. It has six different segments with each getting worse as they go on. Awful CGI furnishings aside, it'southward non exactly badly fabricated or annihilation like that but instead information technology'due south filled to the brim with cliché afterwards cliché which had me wishing I was watching the movies it was ripping off instead. It's then bland and anticipated also with each segment going exactly where yous think they're going to. The wrap around story is also cliché filled and…
